Recirculated nutrient water passes through a 5-micron mechanical sediment filter before entering a 254nm germicidal UV chamber. This process neutralizes 99.9% of bacterial pathogens, Pythium spores, and algae cells without adding harsh chemical oxidants that could damage delicate sprout roots.

Autonomous EC and pH Stabilization

As microgreen roots absorb minerals, electrical conductivity (EC) fluctuates rapidly. Sensor arrays inside our reservoir chambers continuous sample ion concentrations, activating micro-dosing peristaltic pumps to maintain exact ppm target balances automatically.
